We are currently seeking an experienced Mid-Senior Project Manager to join our growing team on a full-time basis, to support the delivery of high quality outcomes for clients ecommerce projects with considered solutions.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you’ll have great energy, be a team player and excited by the idea of working with a number of clients to grow their online performance. Join a dedicated team managing multiple projects. In this role you will oversee multiple complex projects and lead project teams to ensure the client receives high quality solutions that are on-time, on-budget and fit for purpose. This role is full time (9:00am to 5:00pm) and may be based in any of our Convert Digital Offices in either Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, with the option for flexible working arrangements, including working from home. It is an ongoing role for someone that is eager to immerse themselves in the industry and be exposed to various parts of the business.

Your day may include:

• Managing complex projects independently to deliver successful digital products for clients – owning projects from kick-off to deployment and warranty

• Coordinating internal teams and external partners for flawless execution of projects, providing clear task instructions and feedback

• Developing and overseeing all project engagement aspects, including planning, third-party vendors, stakeholder relationships, communications, resources, budget, change management and risks

• Contributing to business process improvement and supporting new ideas

• Managing client communication effectively and proactively addressing any out-of-scope requests to maintain project transparency and prevent scope creep

• Driving the development of project scopes and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility

• Documenting and reporting on project performance to optimise efficiency and mitigate risks throughout the client success lifecycle

• Mentoring project team members, sharing expertise on processes and problem-solving

• Collaborating with team members to achieve successful client outcomes and foster a culture of diligence and teamwork

Our ideal new addition will have:

• At least 4 years in a relevant Digital Project Manager role

• Knowledge of ecommerce and web technologies, with advanced understanding of Shopify Plus (a must)

• Completion of one (or more) relevant project management certifications; Certificate IV in Project Management, CAPM (PMP a plus)

• Experience with Scrum and/or Agile Project Management

• Advanced understanding and experience working with ecommerce

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences

• Collaboration-oriented with the ability to drive results

• Bonus: experience with Commercetools
